NeuroActiv Physio is a mobile rehabilitation service that strives to provide comprehensive home-based and community neurological physiotherapy, customized to each individual's needs. We aim to help and empower all individuals across the lifespan (pediatric, adult, geriatric) living with neurological conditions. This includes but is not limited to:

NeuroActiv Physio also offers comprehensive vestibular rehabilitation therapy to diagnose and treat vestibular disorders, such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), Meniere's disease, vestibular neuritis, post-concussion syndrome and central vestibular disorders.

Physiotherapy management and treatment are provided in the comfort of your home or clients may opt to receive support in their local community. This includes but is not limited to recreational gyms, aged care facilities, schools, and aquatic centres. Services can be provided to clients under NDIS who are plan-managed or self-managed. Clients can also access services through their Home Care Packages, Private Health Insurance (HICAPS), or Medicare Care Plans (Chronic Disease Management).

Restorative or Maintenance Therapy

One-on-one individualised sessions to provide you with the specialised support you need to regain or maintain your function.

Respiratory Care

Prescription of respiratory care plans, respiratory muscle training programs, and appropriate equipment for individuals with a compromised respiratory system.

Hydrotherapy

Engage in appropriate strength, balance, cardiovascular, and functional exercise for your condition in the water!

Equipment Prescription

Allow us to provide you with equipment recommendations that will best suit your mobility needs. We can arrange trials of low-cost, simple equipment and high-cost, complex equipment (e.g. Evolv Standing Frame, SaraStedy, complex walkers).

Pain Management

Addressing pain through soft tissue techniques, dry needling, and/or electrical modalities.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Treatment is available for individuals suffering from vestibular conditions such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, and chronic central vertigo.

Geriatric Rehabilitation

One-on-one individualised sessions to address age-related health changes. This can include balance training, falls recovery and prevention, and strength training.
